I did it.
After three years working for the same company I gave notice. It was by far the hardest decision I’ve made in my life and hopefully its for the best.
I always thought I’d work at the this company until I went to b-school full time. However things change…
There are a couple of people I’m really going to miss working with. I plan on staying in touch with all my work friends but the realist in me knows that I’ll lose touch with most of them.
Anyways, I’m really excited and I cant wait to get started – its what I call nervous energy.
My new company is awesome, everyone is super smart and very dedicated. Being considered for the position was an honor let alone being hired. I know my presence will make a big impact, I just hope its for the best.
Anyways more to come as I blog about the transition.
All I have to say is that I better be one of those people that you keep in touch with. Otherwise I will be VERY upset with you.
Also, I want to say that I’m very proud of you and I know that this is going to be great for your career and you are going to be a superstar at your new job.
